The Minnesota Departments of Public Safety and Health have created a video to encourage you to test your home for radon.
it tells the story of a Minnesota woman whose dying wish was that everyone would get their home tested. The video features interviews with her children. It also shows how to test for radon, describing the process as simple and inexpensive.
Every year, about 6,000 teenagers are killed because of distracted or impaired driving. You can help reduce that number by creating a short commercial promoting safe driving.

Memorial Blood Centers wants your help. The organization is holding a blood drive February 26th from 8 a.m. to noon at 13760 McKenna Road Northwest in Prior Lake.
The organization says donors must fit certain criteria. Here are a few examples:
- In good health
- 17 years old or older (16 with written parental consent)
The Minnesota Dental Association is working to “Give Kids a Smile.”
The annual program provides free dental care to Minnesota children whose families are unable to obtain services. Thousands of volunteers will be participating in about 200 locations around the state.
