Millions of people are expected to crowd IHOP's nationwide today, Tuesday, February 28, 2012 -- for free pancakes!   The restaurant is celebrating National Pancake Day.  Although the flapjacks are free, customers are encouraged to make a donation.  The effort has raised $8 million in its seven years.

Lola's now serving sushi

Lola's Lakehouse on Lake Waconia is now serving Sushi! 

Lola's will now be offering fresh sushi three days a week, Friday through Sunday, beginning at 5 p.m. courtesy of Sushi Chef Tim Storey. 

Storey, a native of Minnesota, has prepared sushi at some of the top Japanese restaurants in Salt Lake City. 

Lola's has live music every Friday and Saturday night, and live music outside every Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m, located at 318 East Lake Street in Waconia.

Get a taste of Chaska

The SouthWest Metro Chamber is inviting residents to enjoy the offerings from local restaurants May 19th at the 25th Annual Chaska Area Taste. 

The event features samples from local restaurants and businesses from Domino's Pizza to Season's Restaurant and from BeautiControl to SouthWest Transit. 

Free musical entertainment will be provided by “73 Paces,” a local band 

The event takes place at City Square Park in downtown Chaska from 5 to 9 p.m.
