Minnesota DNR Says Record Year for Deer Baiting Citations

From the Minnesota DNR:

Conservation officer weekly activity reports confirm what officials with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) already suspected: Deer baiting was pervasive during the 2011 big game season.

DNR conservation officers issued 144 citations, issued 24 warnings and seized 134 firearms/bows in baiting relation investigat

Twins Hold Fundraising Auction During Tonight's Game

The Twins will hold a "Broadcast Auction" tonight during the game to benefit the Twins Community Fund.  Bidding will begin at the first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m. and end ten minutes after the final out.

The following items will be auctioned off tonight:

  • Jim Thome's red flannel shirt worn in the "Paul Bunyan" commercial, autographed by Thome.
