Many Minnesotans would be surprised to see a tiger roaming the streets, but lately, that hasn't been too uncommon.

The Wildcat Sanctuary's tiger fleet is out and about spreading the word, in an eye-catching way, that wildcats do not make good pets. Vehicles with life-size graphics of tigers Titan and Lilly are driving around Minnesota and in parades.

It's not often you hear hardy Minnesotans saying "enough is enough" as far as snowfall goes, but the storm that began Friday night, December 10th, and finally ended late Saturday night, December 11th, was the most intense storm in many people's recent memories.

It's not often that Minnesotans and our neighbors in Western Wisconsin get a chance to view the Northern Lights in the middle of summer.  But an unusually strong solar storm has resulted in abnormally high geomagnetic levels.  What that means is a rare opportunity to see the auroras.
